an article regarding the american education system reveals some important things that i think will really catch people's attention... or so i hope, as we are consistantly failing our children - and not just in the US.
As Bill Gates - one of the people I admire most in the world - says in the article, "I If you look at the computer science department in the top schools, the majority are not US born. Berkeley wouldbe 70 per cent foreign born, which says something about [the US] education system. This is something businesses should care about, because it hits the two biggest issues, which are the competitiveness and justice of the country"

he's a genious. and i love him. and he (and director Davis Guggenheim) have hit the nail on the head.
between michelle obama focusing on national based development, and documentaries examining what's going wrong in education... maybe we're opening up the curtains, and taking a real look at our backyards.
