Great interview with greig's brother DJ Dezza at radiokul.com
The excitement gives me goosebumps! Such a talented guy, and one heck of a guy to be friends with! He's plugged his way through many a night shift, struggling with a new marriage, the transition home from cruiseships after so long, a move, a long distance sibling, and a tough location to hit (halifax), and has managed to climb through it all successfully.
Greig's been working on some piano parts for a new version of the song, and I can't wait to see them work together.
(Maybe this will bring Derek, and his incredible wife Adelina - two of my favourite people in the world - to Toronto??)
Read and listen. And enjoy.

Last night, I was in a mopey mood, and just felt like some good, ole' fashion slapstick comedy. Greig and I watched 'the hangover', and not only am I realing from a weekend with a bunch of ladies whose company I thoroughly enjoy, but it makes me want to throw a good old fashion bachelorette party!! Anyone interested??

I'm becoming discouraged, because despite my shopping ban, my bank account is lower than usual. It's pay day tomorrow, but howwwww do I have less money in my account? I guess it's from all the bills I had to pay… but nontheless. It's heartbreaking to know I've been so good about money in the past 14 days (my life is a joke - I can only be good for 14 days without becoming discouraged) and my bank account is DECREASING.
My spreadsheet budget is looking like once everything is paid off, I'll be golden. But I sincerely thought that when I wasn't spending money I would have a chunk to put towards some loans…
*sigh. Money is the food of the devil.

I spent the weekend with some friends in collingwood - there is nothing like a weekend of sun, drinks, dancing, and laughing to rejuvenate a person's spirit. Unfortunately, I am still exhausted, and this kicking feeling in my stomach that mono has come re-calling on my system is not going away…
I will post pictures from this weekend shortly!
