I'm jamie. 24. insurance service representative by day - social activist and budding academic by night. I went through lots of school, but after a tumultuous year in an international development post graduate degree, I needed a mental break from all the hypocrisy that was what I thought I loved, and felt like I hated. I live in Toronto Ontario, Canada. I've been a bit transient for years because of school, work, family, etc. I am a tough person to be friends with (I lack the ability to keep in touch), so my close friends are the most patient and wonderful people ever. My boyfriend greig is a (soon to be) singer/songwriter/producer, who is graduating in about 5 days from college with a degree in contemporary jazz. He's a smart hippy musician.
I'm a neo hippy - if it can be so - vegan, feminist, activist, and lover of all things creative. Freddie mercury is my dream man, and if macdonalds created a vegan big mac, I would be first in line. I'm a failed extrovert, and I wish I had more money, if only to be able to have long phone conversations with the people I love. That, and to be able to afford to simply study for a living.
