oh fridays. i love you. no matter what my work schedule is like, i'll always like you. though i'm officially on weekend (LOOOOONG weekend), i still woke up before 6 so keighty could get my booty tight (more on that below), and spent the day hiking, biking, and eating my way through vancouver. jeff's parents have flown in for the long weekend, and we are enjoying every second with them - including our departure for tofino tomorrow.
SO while we enjoy the long weekend here in canada, a few things to explore this weekend... and to remember always.

this beautiful and amazing (old) article on arranging supermarket flowers - 'cause goodness knows that's currently what i can afford (that, and flowers cut from the old motel next door to me... which i assume can and should be arranged similar to those super classy flowers you can buy in a grocery store).
goodness gracious. a workout where i can talk like i'm the ghetto queen i am, i get to dance like a hip hop background dancer, and i get a tight ass? perfection. tight club is the brain child of keighty - her opening line on her 'about' page is "i hate running and i love beer". and then, i was in love (i'm even drinking a beer right now). i've had the opportunity to work out with keighty a few times now. all very sweaty. all involving hip hop (ODB was involved). and all involving lots of ass. she's a gem. and her workouts are kick ass. go visit her. she's amazing.
finally. when listening to some of soko's new music, i was reminded of this video. forever one of my favourite videos of all time, i didn't realize that matthew gray gubler also helped direct and edit this mini film. it's beautiful, and sad, and lovely, and sweet and everything that it first love.
