This was a good, relaxing, and yet full, weekend.
Friday: I literally had no plans. I contacted a couple of people, and finally decided to skip it. I just spent the night creating, planning for my friend’s shower, and watching sopranos. And eating. It was so relaxing and lovely. It even rained, so I didn’t feel guilty for not being outside.

Saturday: I woke up early and went to Milton to try on bridesmaid dresses. We spent a good chunk of time there trying to figure out sizes, rush order, etc. and then at starbucks talking afterwards. It’s been a bit of a challenge to find dresses for this wedding, as the bride and groom are my good friends from LA (who I visited in November), and therefore they have parts of their wedding party all over the place: one in LA, three in Ontario, and one in London England. We needed dresses that could be ordered all over the world. We’ve definitely settled on a good one though. I then picked up some groceries, and other stuff for the pre-wedding bash, and headed home. Then, to take advantage of the amazing day, I hiked to the park with my cane, and art supplies, to create and read in the park while the sun was out. I then went home, made dinner, and then spoke with my friend's from LA on skype. I then went out to meet my friend's Art and Costain for a drink - costain has been living in BC for awhile now, so it was nice to catch up with him.

Sunday: after some haphazard plan making (as usual with my family) I took off on TTC (argh) to meet my parents, and then drive to my grandma’s for mother’s day. We met up for brunch/lunch with my aunt and gma, and had a great meal. We went back to my gma’s place quickly, before going over to my parent’s new cottage to drop some stuff off, and take in the beautiful weather. We then dropped my gma off, and stopped for sushi before making the trek home. I arrived back safe and sound at home at about 9:30pm, and cleaned up a bit, and went to bed.
