my weekend in summary

Friday: I worked late (again), and went shopping. Headed to urban outfitters, where they were having a huge sale - picked up a dress for $30. then went to victoria's secret for the first time since it hit the eaton's centre. the self restraint I showed was phenomenal. I then drove straight out to my friend charmaine's place, where she was having a bday party/housewarming. Her and her boyfriend have a great apt up in the north end. So nice to catch up, meet some of her friends, and see the place. I dropped charm, her BF and sister off at the bar, and went home, as I had early morning spin class and was exhausted from the week. Had a bite to eat when I got home, and went to sleep.
Saturday: woke up early for spin, and then went out for breakfast with some of the members of my fitness team (for a fitness challenge at work). Spent the majority of the day studying for my RPA (VERY exciting stuff) at work. Once done, I packed up, headed home to get organized, and drove to london to my friend josh's place. We had a belated halloween party with my closest friends from university (and respective partners… who are also awesome). The theme was intended on being halloween, and cow(person) if you didn't have a costume. I realized when I walked in, in my (borrowed) amelia earhart costume, that I was the only one who thought a halloween costume was a good idea.
lindsay and kim; amelia?; my friend jake is SUPER cool
Needless to say, by the end of the night, I was in a plaid shirt and cowboy hat. It's all relevant. We played some rock band, walked to the bar, and realized when we weren't going to get in, that we really only cared to sit around and talk. Which is what Jake was thinking when he said, "why don't we just get coffee and talk?" note: it was 1:30am. We all picked up some pizza, and headed back to Josh's. I somehow snagged a bed, and had a pretty good sleep (time change considered).

Sunday: Woke up at Josh's, and had some coffee, fruit, and timbits for breakfast. I then went to finally replace my debit card which had been missing for 2 and a half weeks. FINALLY. Did some groceries, and then headed to guelph for a visit. Had coffee with Janice - one of my students from donning at Laurier - who has become a good friend. She was intrigued by my blog, and we talked a lot about the idea of feeling stalled in life - and where do we go from here. I promised Janice that I would give her some cross-promotion if she started a blog. So here you go Janice - Janice and I talking about starbucks and tim hortons… drinking starbucks… on janice's day off from working at tim hortons. Figure THAT out.

janice. my little clone.
Drove home after dinner and coffee with Janice, and spent the evening getting ready for the week… and trying to finish up my cousin's earrings for her bridal party.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
