This weekend was a bit of a doozy. Busy, packed with stuff, but fun.
Friday: After a long day of client meetings, I went home, packed, and drove to my parent's. My sister was moving the next day, so I wanted to be able to spend the night with her. Turns out that a crazy night for us is sitting in, drinking beer, looking at old photos, and watching degrassi… but it was the perfect last night with her. Got to spend the leafs game with my friend chantel, just to say hi, as we were planning a party for her husband and sister the next night.

Saturday: woke up fairly early, and spent the morning helping my sister pack. Once her friend arrived, we jammed everything in the car, and said goodbye. Thank goodness for sunglasses. It was a hard bye. Had a good long chat with my longtime friend jamie about where we are in life - and determined that we both need to go out more. Headed straight to the place where the party was being held, to decorate (not my forte, but what the heck) with Chantel and Mike - the wife and husband of the 30th birthday guests of honour. Once I got home, my mom and I then trekked out to the mall to get some gifts for the party we were going to. Did some shower and get ready, and we were off to the party. Lots of dancing, drinks, food, and fun.

Sunday: woke up early (realizing I forgot to take my contacts out the night before - worst thing ever!) and then went back to bed. Once I woke up, I packed, and drove home. Then met my mom in time for the raptors game - where they beat steve nash and the rest of the pheonix suns. After the game met up with a friend and his cousin, and spent the rest of the evening at a bar downtown, watching football and enjoying the company of people who aren't offended if you don't talk to them while the game's on. Unfortuantely late to bed, but worth every second.
