i have to apologize for my extended absence from blogging... and the halfassed log entries in the interm. I wakled 65 km to end breast cancer, and had a mentally and physically exhausting - but incredible - experience. i had to take a break to reflect on life... and i promise i'm back.

inspired totally by the wovenplay collection for kids... while i have no feelings at this time about having children, and the thought of raising children by my own hand petrifies me, i enjoy little thoughts of these things... moments where i feel as though there may be people out there who justify my position on raising children... and that i may be able to find ways to raise them the way i think best, with the assistance of people who believe my way of life... this assures me.
wovenplay's concept is beautiful - handmade, died, imaginative kids clothing... a way for kids to be kids. society is missing a lot of this.
oh to be a kid again... in lace up socks, a flying helmet, and wings...

i'm super pumped to see that someone else is as excited about the intense amounts of 80's/90's shine in fashion weeks as I am!! Hipster Musings did a whole post on sequins... a woman after my own heart :)

i've been on an asymetrical binge lately... not that i ever liked things symetrical, but it's coming out in my jewellery that i make, wear, clothing choices, and trying to push the boundries on 'business casual' at work... and Esther K has beautiful asymetry in some of her new necklaces... not to mention bunching... which i'm clearly also a huge fan of.
