because i am in love with this, does this mean i'm boring?

spending a lot of time organizing things for a former student and friend who passed away suddenly last october. we're holding a memorial for her, to place a plaque up in the residence that i was her residence advisor in - it's exhausting, but so worth every second.

i spoke with her mom on the phone tonight, and she was speechless with gratitude. that kind of thing makes every spare minute, every stressful night, every frantic phone call or email, worth it.

i wish there were moments for selflessness - because this would be it.
