movie fan - to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield

i went out last night, and saw "one week" with joshua jackson. as a canadian, i can be very proud. Wonderful quotes, wonderful (canadian) music, wonderful timing… and made me think.
the problem - i was itching to travel afterwards… and wondered why i am not doing what i would be doing if I only had an hour, a week, a month to live.

please - see this movie. ignore the corny canadian actors, the hilarious narrating (no don't - that's one of the best parts)... and focus on the important parts. where we should be spending our time, when it really matters.

i should also share, that this soundtrack is one of the best i have ever heard. ever. you can listen to the whole thing here.

(and, since 'ricky come home' isn't on youtube, i'm going to share it here... it's a beautiful song)

my favourite from the soundtrack:
this song makes me cry every time i hear it.... "Hey child, things are looking down. That’s okay, you don’t need to win anyways. Don’t be afraid, just eat up all the gray and it will fade all away. Don’t let yourself fall down."

edit: after spending a week driving across the country, and living with serious, chronic health issues, this movie means more to me than ever before. i feel everyone should watch it once a month (or week), to remind them to live. really - live.
