....my love of beading that is.
Today... was a beautiful day. Wake up late, do some mid morning yoga to awake the muscles...
However, God's plan for this wonderful day did not anticipate small children joining me at La Perlerie (my part time place of employment), and yet again, reminding me why I do not deserve to have children.
Small, pretentious, spoiled brat to Asian nanny - "bead this, I'm tired"
(nanny on phone with - who I assume was - a friend... speaking some form of Asian language. I choose not to guess)
child - "hong fu kong wang mua tong tang" (mocking nanny on phone)
me - "that's not polite - in fact that's quite rude"
Thus ending today's reason why I should not have children for many many years.
This incident left my jaw dropped, almost leaving me speechless - unlike the time when they small child told me it was her birthday so I had to do anything she said, and my response was, "That's
the thing about birthday's - everyone has them, so no one is special"
End scene.
If your child has ever been told off, chances are - it was probably me. I don't apologize. Teach them some manners, and I will be perfectly pleasant to them from that point on.
On a happy note, this inspires me... and I think I see symbolic interaction in it... is it sad I still see Sociological meaning in anything I touch?
